This from Dare to Know: a step towards the long-awaited updating of the growth charts for babies.

If the WHO guidelines are adopted in the UK then in future we face the prospect of breastfed babies being seen as a normal weight, and formula fed babies (who on average are a little larger) being the ones who weigh too much. Who knows, we might even find that fewer breastfeeding mothers will face pressure to “top up” with formula or solids… 🙂
